Ormond Beach Regional Library

This is a beautiful, well organized, very large library. The children’s section includes public use computers for them to use. Down the hall is the adult services area, which also includes public use computers and a sitting area with Wi-Fi access. A reciprocal policy is in place for the use of the public computers. It is free for Volusia, Lake, Putnum and Brevard County residents. If you are not from these counties then the library offers access to the computers at a rate of $5 for a three hour guest pass. There is a large selection of CD’s and DVD’s and of course books available to the public. Security officers are on the premises. There is plenty of parking and easy access to the library.

Ormond regional library is okay place. The bad thing about it is the kids are running up and down the hallways and isles everybody's Talkin on the top of their lungs and no one's respecting the fact that there are people in there trying to do research and work. Apparently if the librarians don't like you then they'll go and harass you making you feel so uncomfortable you never want to go back. If you do go back then the librarians and the security guard will continuously harass you. The stereotype in this place is ridiculous especially if you don't fit into what they want in their library.

It's important to have a library in every community that we live in, not only to teach our children, continue education for adults and seniors as well. To use the resources available.. Reading of all sorts fiction and non fictional Documents or documentaries Old news learning not just past historical event but in history itself Educational experiences and things to do in the area along with some rentals in electronics that You check out as you would books. You must be a resident in the area..not sure if or how our out of county residents or out of states public library cards are issued I know all are welcomed to use the materials inside. They're curtious and helpful as libations that work.and volunteer in ours. It's located at the west side base of the Granada bridge. If your comic from the barrier Islamds. Terrible selection of non-fiction, useless library for learning new skills and trades. I was raised supporting libraries but this library serves no purpose and is a waste of my tax dollars except for providing internet access. Since they're missing just about every book that's useful to adults, at least they let you read about it on a slow computer that could be faster if their IT was competent.
